Privacy

Privacy policy.

Your data is a trust we hold. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect it, and under which laws we operate.

Last updated: July 2026

Who we are

Cairo Prime is a software company. We build the digital systems that run your business: websites, brand, SEO, and custom operations systems for Egyptian and Arab businesses. We work from Cairo, and our services are bilingual Arabic and English.

For any question about your data or to exercise your rights listed below, you can reach us via the contact page.

1. The data we collect

Data we collect from you directly:

  • Contact form: name, email, company name, and a summary of your project, so we can reply.
  • WhatsApp and email: the messages or attachments you send us.
  • Smart-assistant chat (if available on the site): anything you write to the assistant.

Data collected automatically when you visit the site:

  • Usage data: the pages you visit, visit duration, and browser type (via the analytics described in section 4).
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, and operating system.

2. How we use your data

We use your data to:

  • Reply to your enquiries and requests via email or WhatsApp.
  • Prepare proposals and quotes when you get in touch about a project.
  • Generate responses in the smart assistant if you use it.
  • Improve our website and our services.
  • Meet any legal obligation.

No sale of your data. We never sell, lease, or trade your personal data with any party for marketing purposes. Ever.

3. The legal basis

Your data is handled under:

  • The Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law, No. 151 of 2020, which regulates the processing of personal data in Egypt.

The legal basis for processing varies by case: consent (when you accept cookies or subscribe to a newsletter), contractual necessity (when we work together), or legitimate interest (to reply to your enquiry).

4. Cookies and analytics

By default the site places only the essential cookies it needs to function. We use the Plausible analytics tool, a privacy-respecting tool with no cookies and no personal tracking. It counts visits in aggregate and cannot identify you.

If we add any other analytics tool that requires consent (such as Google Analytics), we will explicitly ask for your consent on entry, and refusal remains the default.

5. WhatsApp and email

When you contact us via WhatsApp or email, the messages stay on that service within your account and ours, and we retain them as long as needed to reply to you and complete your request. We advise you not to send sensitive data (health, financial, or identity) over WhatsApp, and to send it via official email instead.

6. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as needed to meet the purposes in this policy, or longer if the law requires. The contact form is usually retained for two years, and smart-assistant conversations are logged and deleted on request.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Correction: request a change to any inaccurate data.
  • Erasure: request that your data be deleted.
  • Restriction: request that we stop processing your data in certain cases.
  • Objection: object to the processing of your data.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the contact page, and we will reply within a reasonable time.

8. Data security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Even so, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

9. Third-party services

We use a limited number of third-party services to run the site, such as the hosting provider, the Plausible analytics tool, and an email provider to deliver your messages. Each one gets only what it needs to do its job, and on our side we minimise the intermediation as much as possible.

10. Changes to the policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any material change will be announced by publishing the new policy on this page with the update date.

11. Contact us
